Accounts & Subscriptions

Sign-up, subscription links, multiple devices and account security

Do I need an email address to sign up?

No. Signing up for VPNAW only asks for a username and password. There is no email verification step, so there are no verification emails to miss or find in your spam folder. The same username and password are what you use to log in to the user panel, so keep them somewhere safe.

How many devices can use one subscription at the same time?

As many as you like. One subscription works on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux at the same time. There is no limit on how many home computers, phones and tablets can be online at once, and you never need a separate plan for each device.

Where do I get the subscription link, and how do I import it into a client?

Log in to the user panel and get your subscription link in the "Download clients" section. How you import it depends on the client: Clash-based clients want the link pasted into "Profiles" and then updated; Shadowrocket, Stash, sing-box and similar apps use "Import from URL". The link looks like https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN, and the token is the same as your account credentials, so do not forward it to anyone.

Do I need to buy a new plan when I switch devices?

No. A plan is tied to your account, not to a device. Sign in to the same account on the new device, or import the same subscription link, and you can carry on. Nothing extra is needed when you stop using an old device; if you want to tidy up, delete the profile in the client.

How often is the subscription link updated, and what if it leaks?

Clients usually refresh the subscription once a day to pull the latest server information, and you can also reset the subscription link manually in the panel. If the link ends up in a screenshot posted to a group chat, or is committed to a public repository by mistake, reset it in the panel right away. The old link stops working immediately and you just import the new one; your plan and data allowance are unaffected.

What if I forget my password?

Choose "Forgot password" on the user panel login page and follow the on-screen steps. No email address was collected at sign-up, so recovery cannot be done by email; the reset happens inside the panel. If it keeps failing, open a ticket and a human will help verify your account details.

Connection & Troubleshooting

Cannot connect, connected but not working, a single app not going through the proxy

The client says it is connected but pages will not load. How do I check whether traffic is going through the proxy?

Check your exit IP first: once connected, search for "what is my IP", and if the result still shows your local ISP, traffic is not going through the proxy. There are three common causes: the client is in "Rule" or "Direct" mode and the domain does not match any rule; the system proxy is not really in effect, and some clients need manual authorization; another proxy extension is still enabled in the browser. Work through them one by one, then reconnect.

Why does a particular app not go through the proxy?

Some apps use their own network stack or UDP and QUIC, which can bypass the system proxy, and some apps actively refuse proxy connections. Turn on TUN (virtual network adapter) mode in the client so all system-level traffic is captured, then try again. Screen mirroring and router admin pages are local network traffic and do not go through the proxy, which is normal.

It keeps spinning, or reports a connection failure. What should I do?

Try three steps in order: switch to a server in another region; quit the client completely and open it again; confirm your local network itself works by disconnecting the client and seeing whether local sites load normally. If only one server fails, it is usually under maintenance, so just switch servers — there is no need to reinstall the client.

Can I use it on a router?

The official clients cover five platforms — Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux — and router firmware is not one of them. The subscription link from the panel works in third-party clients that support subscription import; that kind of setup is an advanced option and you configure and maintain it yourself.

Will several devices online at once kick each other off?

No. There is no limit on simultaneous devices, and a later sign-in never pushes an earlier one offline. One thing to note: if the same account switches regions very frequently in a short time, login sessions on some websites may be invalidated. It is best to keep one or two regular servers per device.

What should I watch out for on public Wi-Fi?

Connect to a server first and confirm your exit IP has changed before signing in to accounts or doing anything else sensitive. On a public network, do not submit login details directly, and do not join a hotspot with the same name from an unknown source. You can disconnect the client once you leave that network.

Speed & Servers

Peak hours, server types, data and pinpointing slowdowns

What can I do about slowdowns at peak hours?

Switch servers first: differences between servers in the same region get amplified at peak hours, so prefer servers labelled IEPL dedicated line, which keep latency and jitter steadier. Then rule out local factors — check whether other devices are slow at the same time and whether your home broadband is busy downloading or syncing. Finally check the client mode: in Rule mode some traffic goes direct, so what feels slow may simply not be going through the proxy.

What is the difference between IEPL dedicated lines, relay and direct servers, and which should I choose?

An IEPL dedicated line is an end-to-end private link: the most expensive, the steadiest at peak hours with the least jitter, and the best fit for real-time voice, gaming and remote desktop. A relay server forwards traffic through an extra hop between the entry and exit points — good value, suited to everyday browsing and video. A direct server connects straight to the exit: the cheapest, and the most affected by international link congestion at peak hours. Every server on the server list page is labelled with its type.

What does latency mainly depend on?

Physical distance comes first. The baseline latency of intercontinental servers is clearly higher than that of servers in the same region; no service can remove that, and dedicated lines can only reduce queuing and jitter. Next come the server type and the target site's own response speed. If only one website is slow while others are fine, the problem is most likely on that site's side.

What is the difference between the plans, and how is data counted?

Monthly subscriptions are tiered by data: ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB and ¥28/month with 500GB, with data resetting every month on your activation date. Data packs are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB — use them up at your own pace, they never expire. Both are tied to the same account, so you can pick according to your actual monthly usage; video and cloud drive syncing burn through data faster.

The same website is sometimes fast and sometimes slow. How do I pin down the cause?

Three comparisons will locate it: switch to another server at the same moment to test whether it is a server problem; switch to another device to test whether it is your machine; switch to another target website to test whether it is the site. If all three are slow, your local network or broadband uplink is congested; if only one server is slow, just switch servers; if only one website is slow, it usually comes down to that site's own routing.

What if streaming and AI tools are unstable?

Both kinds of platform check the region of your exit IP strictly, so choosing the right region matters more than keeping several servers on hand. The server list page notes streaming support for each server — pick one in the region the target platform belongs to. If you see a "not available in your region" message, try another server in the same region first; switching regions too often is more likely to trigger the platform's risk controls.

Billing & Refunds

Payment methods, refund requests, data packs and upgrade proration

Which payment methods are supported?

Three: Alipay, WeChat and USDT. After placing an order, choose one of them on the payment page to complete the payment.

How do I request a refund?

Within the 60-day no-questions-asked refund window, just submit a request through the ticket entry in the user panel — no reason needed. Once the refund is complete, the subscription rights for that order end; if you want to keep using the service later, simply place a new order.

What is the difference between a monthly subscription and a data pack?

A monthly subscription is billed monthly and data resets every month on your activation date, which suits steady long-term use. A data pack is a one-off purchase that lasts until it runs out and never expires, which suits users whose usage varies — heavy one month, barely any the next, and nothing goes to waste. Both are tied to the same account and you can hold both at once.

How is a mid-term plan upgrade calculated?

When you upgrade a monthly subscription mid-term, the price difference is converted into remaining days, and once you pay the difference you move to the new tier. If you only went over your allowance in one month, you can also just buy a data pack instead of changing tiers.

What if I use up this month's data early?

Monthly subscription data resets every month on your activation date, and it comes back automatically on the reset date. If you do not want to wait, buy a data pack and keep going; data packs last until they run out and never expire, so any unused balance stays there.

What if my order does not activate after payment?

Orders are usually confirmed automatically once payment is complete. If it still has not activated after a long time, first confirm the payment really went through by checking the billing record of your payment channel, then submit the order details through a panel ticket for a human to check. Do not place the order again — that only creates duplicate orders.
